Led by the Director of Chocolate (Or Chocolate Concierge), this 1.5 hour course will equip the curious with a better understanding of chocolate. A little bit of history, cacao as an agricultural product, post-harvest practices, and the process of turning cacao into chocolate. Next, a guided tasting through our lineup of chocolate bars will expose participants to different origins, sweetnesses, flavors, textures, and stages of chocolate. Included in the cost, each participant will receive a chocolate bar of their choice and also a 10% Discount on any retail chocolate/coffee/tea purchased at the class.
Classes will take place in person in the Chocolate Cave in the basement at Onyx Coffee Lab in downtown Springdale, Arkansas.
